How it adds up

Unit cost is fabric × the metres one piece takes, plus trims, manufacturing and other processes.

Landed cost adds freight and import duty, so it is what the piece costs once it arrives.

Wholesale price is landed cost × your wholesale markup. Many brands land between 2 and 2.5.

Retail price is the wholesale price × the retailer's markup, often 2 to 2.7 depending on the market.

Margin is what is left as a share of the price.

Every style, live

A calculator works for one style. Tr3e keeps the cost of every style in your collection live, from the same materials and suppliers, so a new fabric price updates every style that uses it.
