Ask Tree, the assistant in Tr3e
Ask Tree is the assistant inside Tr3e. Ask it about your collections, products and materials, or tell it what to add or change. Nothing is saved until you approve it.
Open it
Choose Ask Tree in the top bar, or press ⌘J (Ctrl+J). The panel stays open as you move around.
Ask Tree knows the page you're on, so this product or this collection means the one in front of you.
What to ask

| A material | Add Organic Cotton Jersey 180, black, 180 gsm, sold by the metre |
Today Ask Tree reads and changes collections, products, materials and components. It doesn't delete anything, and it doesn't work on purchase orders, the Critical Path or settings yet.
You approve every change
When Ask Tree wants to create or change something, it shows a card first:
- Will create or Will change, and what.
- Every field it will set. For a change, the old value is struck through beside the new one.
- Approve saves it. Decline saves nothing, and Ask Tree asks what you'd like instead.
Your chats stay yours
New chat starts a fresh conversation, and History lists your earlier ones. Nobody else in the Workspace can read your chats, owners and admins included.
Who can use it
Everyone in the Workspace can chat. Owners, admins and members can approve changes. A viewer can ask questions, and a change they ask for is refused.
If you don't see Ask Tree in the top bar, it isn't turned on for your Workspace yet. Write to hello@tr3e.com and we'll turn it on.
