How Tr3e is organised
Tr3e is where a fashion brand develops its collections: what to make, what it's made of, what it costs, who makes it, and when each decision is due. Here is how the pieces fit.
The big picture
Workspace
├── Collections a season or drop, such as SS27
│ ├── Categories how its products are filed: Outerwear → Coats
│ ├── Budget what it may spend, and what it will earn
│ └── Critical Path eight milestones, from line plan to production
├── Products each with its variants, sizes and prices
│ ├── Construction its bill of materials
│ └── Manufacturing the processes that make it, and their cost
├── Library materials, components, companies, processes, certificates
└── Purchase orders what you order from a vendor, from Draft to ClosedWorkspace
Your brand's account in Tr3e. It has members, each with a role (owner, admin, member or viewer), one currency for every amount, and its own settings. You can belong to several Workspaces and switch between them from the top bar.
Collections
A collection is a season or a drop. It holds products, files them under its categories, keeps track of its budget, and takes every product through the Critical Path.
Products and variants
A product is one style, such as the Oslo Coat. Its colours and other options make its variants: the Oslo Coat in Black and in Ecru is two variants.
- Sizes don't make variants. Each variant lists its sizes, each with its own SKU, barcode and planned units.
- Prices (Target Price, RRP and WSP) belong to the product.
- Files, the bill of materials, manufacturing and the unit cost belong to each variant, so the Black and the Ecru coat can cost differently.
Library
What your products are made from and made by, kept once and used everywhere: materials, components, companies (suppliers, manufacturers, vendors), manufacturing processes and certificates.
A material's price comes from its orders. Record a new order and every product that uses it is costed again.
Purchase orders
An order to a vendor for products, by variant and size, with prices, delivery and payment terms. It moves from Draft through Approved, Sent and Received to Closed, and downloads as a PDF. See Purchase orders.
