Products, colours and sizes
A product is one style, such as the Oslo Coat. Its colourways and other options make its variants, and every size has its own SKU, barcode and planned units.
Create a product
Choose New product on the Products page, or Create → Product in the top bar. Type its name in Name. To create it straight into a collection, open the collection and choose Add product → Create new.
The page saves as you type. You'll see Saving… and then Saved.
Colours, sizes and other options
Options live in the product's Variants card. There are three kinds:
| Option | Example | Makes variants? |
|---|---|---|
| Sizes | XS, S, M, L | No. Each variant lists its sizes as rows on its Manufacturing tab. |
| Colorways | Black, Ecru | Yes, one per colour |
| Custom | Fit: Regular, Relaxed | Yes, one per value |
So the Oslo Coat in Black and Ecru, sizes S to L, has two variants with three sizes each.
- In the Variants card, choose +, then Sizes, Colorways or Custom.
- Type each value and press Enter. Drag values to reorder them.
- Choose Done. Nothing is saved until you do.
Reuse a size run
Save a size run once and add it to any product.
- Save one: on a product's Sizes option, open ⋮ → Save as preset.
- Use one: when you add Sizes, choose the import button and pick a preset.
Prices and planned units
Prices belong to the product: the Target Price (what you aim to make it for), the RRP (retail price) and the WSP (wholesale price).
Planned units belong to each size: how many you plan to sell Retail and Wholesale. Together with the prices they fill in the collection's projected revenue and profit. See Cost and margin.
Duplicate a product
Open the ⋮ menu → Duplicate product. The copy has everything the original has, with new barcodes. Comments, product passports and purchase order lines stay with the original.
