ApparelMagic alternatives for fashion brands
ApparelMagic is an all-in-one system for apparel businesses, with ERP, PLM and wholesale tools in one subscription. Its public plans start at $337 a month billed yearly. Brands that mostly need help with product development often look at lighter tools too. This page lists the usual alternatives and what each one is good at.
What ApparelMagic covers
ApparelMagic covers inventory, sales orders, B2B ecommerce and line sheets, manufacturing, purchase orders, fulfilment and integrated accounting. Its PLM side covers styles, tech packs, cost sheets, raw materials and a vendor portal. It also has SKU, UPC and barcode management, an AI copilot and AI agents, and MCP access for Claude and other AI tools in its higher plans.
The Professional plan is $337 a month billed yearly, or $356 paid monthly on a yearly contract, with 3 users. Enterprise is $655 a month billed yearly with 5 users, and Ultimate is priced on request. Order-only sales rep users cost extra. ApparelMagic offers a 30-day money back guarantee.
If ApparelMagic is on your shortlist, the practical question is whether you need it to run the whole business, including stock, wholesale and accounting, or mainly to plan and cost the collection.

How Tr3e differs from ApparelMagic
ApparelMagic runs the business after the product is made: stock, wholesale orders, shipping and the books. Tr3e covers the work before that. Every style sits in one collection with its colours, sizes, materials and live unit cost, compared with the target price, so the team sees the margin while the design can still change. The collection budget shows spend, projected revenue and profit. The Critical Path dates the milestones back from the purchase order date, and purchase orders come straight from planned units in the supplier's own currency. Tr3e also creates SKUs and barcodes for every size and publishes Digital Product Passports.
Tr3e has no inventory, wholesale or accounting tools, and no dedicated tech pack builder or Illustrator plug-in. A brand can keep an ERP for stock and sales and plan, cost and order the collection in Tr3e.
Moving to Tr3e
- Export your styles and materials as spreadsheets.
- Create your Workspace and fill in its currency, sizes and codes. See Get started with Tr3e.
- Add materials, suppliers and certificates to the Library once.
- Create the current collection with its products, colours and sizes, and add each variant's materials and manufacturing to see live cost.
- Invite the team and suppliers. Viewers and suppliers are free.
Most teams start with the season they are working on now.
