Onbrand PLM alternatives for fashion brands
Onbrand is a PLM for growing fashion brands, built around live tech packs and a vendor portal. Its prices are not public, so many brands look at a few other tools before they ask for a quote. This page lists the usual alternatives and what each one is good at.
What Onbrand covers
Onbrand covers live tech packs, libraries, a vendor portal, samples and line sheets. Its Pro plan adds costing, a Time and Action calendar and generative design. Onbrand gives about 10 days as its onboarding time. Prices are given on request.
If Onbrand is on your shortlist, the practical questions are what a team of your size will pay each year, how many supplier logins are included, and whether you need tech packs at the centre of your work or the season's cost, plan and orders.
The alternatives
| Tool | Good fit when | Public price |
|---|---|---|
| Tr3e | You want the line plan, live cost and margin, the Critical Path and purchase orders in one place | €40 per user per month, viewers and suppliers free, first month free |
| Delogue | Tech packs, samples and supplier collaboration are the core of your work | €145 to €249 per user per month |
| Techpacker | You mainly need tech packs and line sheets at a low price | $35 to $125 per user per month billed yearly, plus onboarding |
| BeProduct | You want every module in one flat annual licence | Not public |
| Backbone PLM | You want tech packs with an Illustrator integration | Listed from $199 per user per month on Capterra |

How Tr3e differs from Onbrand
Onbrand starts from the tech pack. Tr3e starts from the season: every style sits in one collection with its colours, sizes, materials and live unit cost, compared with the target price, so the team sees the margin while the design can still change. The Critical Path dates the milestones back from the purchase order date, and purchase orders come straight from planned units in the supplier's own currency. Tr3e also creates SKUs, GTINs and barcodes for every size and publishes Digital Product Passports from the same data.
Tr3e has no dedicated tech pack builder or Illustrator plug-in. Sketches and files sit on each variant. If your work is mostly tech packs, Onbrand, Delogue or Techpacker fit that better.
Moving to Tr3e
- Export your styles and materials as spreadsheets.
- Create your Workspace and fill in its currency, sizes and codes. See Get started with Tr3e.
- Add materials, suppliers and certificates to the Library once.
- Create the current collection with its products, colours and sizes, and add each variant's materials and manufacturing to see live cost.
- Invite the team and suppliers. Viewers and suppliers are free.
Most teams start with the season they are working on now.
